WCOOP is on and tens of millions of dollars are on the line. That already made things interesting. But Team Online is about to make things even more so — and as part of that you could win a trip to UFC 244 in New York this November.
Whoever scores the most knockouts in that tournament will receive a UFC 244 New York package. Whoever runs deepest will win the package in the event of a tie.
On top of that, someone from these streamers’ communities will also win a UFC 244 package. That’s tickets to UFC 244 New York on November 2, plus flights and accommodation.
Five steps to the Big Apple
Going from watching a Team Online stream to watching a UFC fight live is a five-step process.
Step 1: Enter a Stars Code
We have three Star Codes active from now until September 15: UFCFintan, UFCSpraggy and UFCLex. Simply enter one of these three Star Codes in the PokerStars client.
Step 2: Play WCOOP Event #41
WCOOP Event #41 runs on Sunday September 15. You can play any tier to complete this step. Obviously, it’s best for you if you just go ahead and win the event, but for the purposes of our contest it doesn’t matter where you finish. Simply playing earns you entry into a special freeroll.
Step 3: Play the freeroll
The freeroll (Tournament ID 2690578212) is scheduled for Monday September 16 at 3pm ET / 8pm UK / 9pm CET.
Step 4: Submit your video
If you finish in the top 18 spots in the freeroll, you will be asked to submit a video to Twitch@PokerStars.com saying why you should be the one to win the package.
The video must:
- Come from the email attached to your Stars Account
- Be submitted by 23:59 on the September 18th
- Be in English
- Be less than 2 minutes long
- Explain why you are the best person to take to UFC NY
- Have the Subject “UFC 244 New York”
That’s a two-day turnaround from the start, so be prepared to act fast. The winner will be selected by an expert panel of judges.
Step 5: Don’t miss your plane
If you reach this step, you’re going to UFC 244!
The Stars Codes are live, so you can complete Step 1 right now. Good luck with the rest, and hopefully we’ll see you in New York this November.
