Weekend Review: EPT goes bonkers in Barcelona

When the European Poker Tour’s celebration of its 100th Main Event kicked off last week, it wasn’t without some anticipation for a big party. People had been planning this festival for a long time.

And then things went sort of bonkers.

After an eye-popping Super High Roller, the Main Event registration line seemed to never end. Before the cage closed, nearly 1,500 players had signed up to play the Main.

Now, the High Roller is picking up steam and looks to be a big one, too.
