Brazil now has yet another $215 SUNDAY MILLION champion on its roster.
Luiz “lftgjc” Felipe Sales claimed victory in the biggest weekly tournament, adding a massive $142,372 to his bankroll. Sales had made a three-handed deal with eventual runner-up, Canada’s “Egption” ($100,000), and third-place finisher “ALIN76poker” ($100,042) from Romania.
The tournament had 5,779 runners, creating a $1,155,800 prize pool. Team PokerStars Online’s Lex Veldhuis had a deep run, finishing 259th for $640.54.
The winningest player in online tournament history enjoyed a 1,000% ROI on Sunday.
The UK’s Chris “Moorman1” Moorman took down the $22 Double Deuce Turbo for $21,995, bringing his online earnings up to a staggering $15.39 million. The tournament had 7,806 entries, and a prize pool of $156,120.

Another big win for Britain over the weekend came in the form of Jonathan “Proudflop” Proudfoot’s Sunday 500 victory.
The pro from Durham outlasted 273 runners after more than 11 hours of play to win $26,030. It’s just another of many fantastic results Proudfoot has enjoyed in 2018, including taking down the Super Tuesday a couple of weeks ago for $51,298.
