Weekend review: ACOP, Isle of Man, and Red Spade Open shine bright

November 04, 2013

I’m a bit biased, and maybe still a bit in the glow of a very fun week in the Isle of Man at PokerStars headquarters, but this has simply been a great weekend. While our colleague Heath Chick has been off in Macau covering the Asia Championship of Poker, we’re getting ready to watch a very fun final table on the UKIPT, including Fatima Moreira de Melo and PokerStars Team Online manager Chris Jonat. It’s a real treat to see both of them in a position to win a UKIPT championship right at PokerStars HQ.

Fatima all smiles and hands headed into final day

Meanwhile, as I log on this morning, I see yesterday’s Red Spade Open has just reached a final table with $293,000 up top for the winner. Here’s a look at it as they discuss a deal.
