Lex Veldhuis just short of first SCOOP title ($63K)

He might be playing a limited SCOOP schedule, but that didn’t stop Lex Veldhuis from almost taking down his first title.

Lex could only sit and watch as Brazil’s Pedro “PaDiLhA SP” Padilha bulldozed his way through the final table of SCOOP-29-H, a $2,100 buy-in event. Still, he was happy to grab the payjumps:

In the end, it was GG, but according to Lex, the “deserved winner” won.

Lex banked $62,779 for his runner-up finish. With two weeks left of SCOOP we’ve no doubt we’ll see him on more final tables.

Royal flush alert!
