Lex Veldhuis has now taken down a title on PokerStars in back-to-back Sundays. And that wasn’t the only thing that happened back-to-back…
Last week we showed you how the PokerStars Ambassador won the prestigious $1K Sunday High Roller for $33K.
This past Sunday (July 11), Lex wasn’t enjoying the best session. In fact, he’d later say he was “in the pits”. Here’s a taster of some run-bad Lex faced early in the session:
But a good run in the Hotter $109–which had 459 entries–could pull him out.
On the final table he ran some well-executed bluffs:
He picked up some easy bounties:
He had the best hand hold in the most important spots:
He eliminated fellow Dutch streamer “Tom_Poker_NL” to take things heads-up:
And then he picked up pocket aces in back-to-back hands:
OK. So he couldn’t quite get the job done with those second aces, but it wouldn’t take long for him to finish off “leoduarte13”:
The people that stayed till the end yesterday did a smart thing. Thanks for pushing me out of the pits. Climbed out of the ravine together like Frodo, Sam and Smeagol.
Finished with a marble spin for $250 which you guys completely fucked, so next time will be $275! pic.twitter.com/A535pRWq4u

That’s a nasty river right there.
Storytime with Tonkaaaa.
Don’t throw poop at a guy with aces.
Badugi wins are rare in Twitch Poker, but we love to see ‘em.
We love Badugi wins so much, here’s another one.
Tom_Poker_NL vs Lex Veldhuis.
Death by quads.
That escalated quickly. I mean, that really got out of hand fast.
A rollercoaster of a clip.
Nice win for peacendloove.
You get nothing. You lose. Good day, Sir.
