Turbo Series Day 9: Second TS title of series for plspaythxbye

Eight events ran on Day 9 of the Turbo Series, three of them PKOs. Total combined prize pools reached over $1.9 million.

Event 72 stood out as a biggie. The $530 PKO tourney reached a prize pool of over half a million dollars. “fanen” from Lebanon claimed $35,317 for first place, also earning $35,316 for knockouts. Long time reg Jason “jdtjpoker” Wheeler finished second.

Y.Ako0426” from Japan picked up their biggest ever win, $42,754 for first in Event 69.

At the mid-stakes level, the $55 Event 70 offered plenty of potential bang for buck, with the prize pool reaching over $300k. Ukrainian player “Uivelo88”, who’s top results come from Supersonic wins, took the incredible $46,290 first place.

But the most impressive result of the night without a doubt came from “plspaythxbye”. The appropriately named Ukrainian reg’s past accomplishments include a WCOOP title, and incredibly they have already won one TS title this series.

plspaythxbye took down Event 09 on Day 2 of the Turbo Series for $46,580. Now they have rightfully and wilfully earned their second title of the series. They scored big in the TS special edition Fat Tuesday, earning $31,431 for first. Great work.
