A total of seven events ran of Day 2 of the Turbo Series, with close to $1.5 million awarded in prizes.
The $215 Event 07 attracted 1,303 entries for a total prize pool of $260k. “herzbube1973” came first for $32,999 following a three-way split. They gaining entry via an $8.80 satellite for a 3,748x return on their buy-in.
Second place “ALLA_di_BaLL” also satellited into the tourney and earned $31,088. “Ebaaa11” was also involved in the split. They came third for $26,706.
The $11 rebuy Event 08 also proved to be a popular tournament, reaching a prize pool of over $200k. “pan8iras77” from Greece claimed first place for $29,558.
The biggest Turbo Series event of the night was Event 09, the $109 PKO Win the Button game, which reached a prize pool of $465k. It’s an interesting format of event that is definitely designed to generate action, and this was no different.
“plspaythxbye” from Ukraine came first for $28,130, plus $18,450 in bounties. “$uper$ick785”, who earned their entry via satellite, came second, also winning $28,130 and picking up $1.4k in bounties.
“123sputnick” also put on a notable performance. They couldn’t quite make the final few, eventually finishing in sixth place for $5,444, but managed to score an impressive $6k in bounties from 13 knockouts.
