Yesterday, we brought you part 1 of the greatest players in WCOOP history. If you missed it, check that out here.

Can there ever be a GOAT (greatest of all time) in poker? Nah. Not really. But when it comes to the World Championship of Online Poker, some players do stand out at the top.

Here’s a look at five more of the WCOOP GOATs.

Ryan ‘g0lfa’ D’Angelo

WCOOP titles: 3

After winning two WCOOP titles in one year back in 2009, Ryan ‘g0lfa’ D’Angelo became the first player to win three titles in 2010.

His first two victories came just five days apart. D’Angelo took down the $320 8-game Mixed Event for $50,250.00, and in the same week followed it up with a win in the $320 Mixed [Pot Limit Hold’em, Omaha] for $69,245.51.

A year went by and D’Angelo found himself back in the winner’s circle. His record-breaking third title came from the $530 No Limit Hold’em [1 Rebuy/1 Add-on] event which he won for $199,450.35.

D’Angelo now considers himself a ‘sometimes poker player’, but is still crushing. In 2016 he won his first WSOP bracelet, as well as making several big final tables. This year he had another deep WSOP run, and just a couple of weeks ago finished fourth in an event for $258K.

Mikal ‘mikal12345’ Blomlie

WCOOP titles: 3

Just like D’Angelo, Mikal ‘mikal12345’ Blomlie also won two WCOOPs in one year. 2012 saw the Norwegian win the $215 Pot Limit Omaha H/L [1 Rebuy/1 Add-on, 6-max] for $43,396.00, then four days later he took down the $215 Pot Limit Omaha Turbo [1 Rebuy/1 Add-on] for $83,158.68.

Blomlie’s third title arrived in 2014, outlasting a massive 7,801 field to win the $109 NL Hold’em for $109,566.28. That put him in elite company, as one of only five players with three WCOOP titles.

Gleb ‘Ti0373’ Tremzin

WCOOP titles: 3

There’s a pattern emerging here. Russia’s Gleb ‘Ti0373’ Tremzin also won two WCOOP titles in one year for $275K combined.

His first saw him come out on top of the $700 Heads-Up No Limit Hold’em, overcoming 719 other hopefuls to bank the $120,600.00. Less than a week later Tremzin was victorious again, this time claiming $155,817.40 for a win in the $530 No Limit Hold’em [1 Rebuy/1 Add-on].

Another title – Tremzin’s third – would come in 2015. He bested a 118-strong field in the $700 NL Draw Championship for $20,402.23 and the bracelet. He’s had a bunch of other deep WCOOP runs too, finishing third in a $320 PLO event for $55K in 2012, and in 2016 he also finished third in a $700 PLO Heads-Up event for $11K.

In addition to his online prowess, Tremzin also plays live. Most notably, he finished second to Hossain Ensan in the 2015 EPT Prague Main Event for a career-best score of $792,342.

Calvin ‘cal42688’ Anderson

WCOOP titles: 2

One of online tournament poker’s first ballot hall of famers, Calvin ‘cal42688’ Anderson has just about done it all.

Calvin ‘cal42688’ Anderson

His first WCOOP victory came in 2010, when he finished first in the $215 No Limit 2-7 Single Draw for $15,047.00. Despite tons of success in between, his next WCOOP title wouldn’t come until 2015, when he won the $320 PL Omaha H/L [6-Max] for $36,019.50.

However, Anderson has made more money from other deep WCOOP runs than he did from his victories. In 2011 he won a WCOOP 2nd Chance $1K NLHE event for $82,270; in 2016 he finished fourth in the $10,300 Eight-Game Championship for $122,582; and in 2013 he finished runner-up in another 2nd Chance event – the $320 rebuy – for $50,531, just to name a few of his WCOOP-related scores.

When we asked Shaun Deeb who should be on this list, his first answer was ‘Cal’ (come back to PokerStars Blog tomorrow for that interview with Deeb). Outside of WCOOP, Anderson has a CV anyone would be jealous of:

10 SCOOP titles (more than anyone else – his closest rival has six)
$7.2 million in online cashes
$2.1 million in live earnings
Two WSOP bracelets

Cal’s done it all

In other words, there will be no surprises if we see Cal back on the WCOOP winner’s list this year.

Connor ‘blanconegro’ Drinan

WCOOP titles: 2

Like Anderson, Connor ‘blanconegro’ Drinan may only have two WCOOP bracelets to his name, but his list of WCOOP cashes stands head and shoulders above most.

Connor ‘blanconegro’ Drinan

Drinan’s debut WCOOP win came in just 2016, when he took down the $320 NL Omaha Hi/Lo [6-Max] for $26,614.82. He’d win his second in 2017, with a first-place finish in the $530 PLO8 [8-Max] $37,999.85.

His other big WCOOP results include a fifth-place finish in the 2016 $21K PLO High Roller for $162K; a runner-up finish in the 2016 $530 NLHE for $100K; and a tenth in the 2016 $10,300 Eight-Game Championship for $40K, just to name a few. Aside from the scores we mentioned, Drinan also has at least eight other WCOOP final tables.

You’ll no doubt be aware of Drinan from the live felt too. He’s got $11 million in career earnings, an EPT High Roller victory, and a third-place finish in the $500K Super High Roller Bowl for $3.2 million.

Drinan won the €10K High Roller at EPT Barcelona 2016 for €849K
