LOL_U_91 wasn’t anywhere near the chip lead when he arrived at this final table, but he sure acted like it. On only the second hand of play, he busted belll80 in ninth place to give himself an above-average chip stack and never looked back. LOL_U_91 went on to run the table, eliminating six of his seven remaining opponents en route to his first Sunday Million title and a $207k score.
This week, the Sunday Million drew a 6,806-strong crowd, the prize pool topping out at $1,361,200.00. 990 players earned a share of it with $207,042.93 set aside for the champion. A baker’s dozen of Red Spades were in the field including Andre Akkari, Leo Margets, Jake Cody, Matthias De Meulder, and Liv Boeree. However, the only one to finish in the money was Greek Team Pro Stavros “IDOLLS” Kalfas, who went out in 336th place.
The blinds were up to 125,000/250,000 on the final table bubble. Shpitzolam open-shoved for 2.52 million from UTG and jancsi69 reshoved for 3.1 million on the button. Shpitzolam’s 9♠9♥ lost a coinflip vs. jancsi69’s A♥Q♥ on the A♣4♥3♦10♥A♠ board and he went out in tenth place, sending us to the final table.

LOL_U_91 eliminates belll80 in ninth
On Hand #2, LOL_U_91 opened for a min-raise to 500,000 and belll80 three-bet to 1.25 million from middle position. The action folded back around to LOL_U_91 who moved all-in for 4.58 million and belll80 called with A♥J♠. LOL_U_91’s A♦Q♦ turned trips on the Q♣J♥10♥Q♦2♦ board and he doubled to 9.75 million, leaving belll80 on 4.07 million.
A few minutes later, LOL_U_91 opened for a min-raise from the hijack and belll80 shoved for 3.7 million from the cutoff. Pimmss reshoved for 10.4 million from the big blind to isolate and drew a fold from LOL_U_91. Belll80’s K♣Q♦ was racing with 10♠10♣, but did not improve on the 7♠4♣3♣9♣5♠ board. For ninth place, belll80 took home $10,549.30.
Shane Gamble topples karakrud in eighth
Less than an orbit later, Shane Gamble opened for 675,000 from UTG and karakrud moved all-in for 2.29 million from the big blind. Shane Gamble called, his Q♦J♦ trailing karakrud’s A♠10♠. That changed on the J♥9♠5♣ flop as Shane Gamble picked up top pair. The J♣ turn made Shane Gamble trips and the river brought a too-little-too-late A♥ for karakrud. Shane Gamble raked in the 4.96 million pot and karakrud hit the rail in eighth place, good for $16,334.30.
luisnrd runs into LOL_U_91’s QQ
Only five hands passed before LOL_U_91 min-raised to 800,000 from UTG and jancsi69 three-bet shoved for 6.64 million on the button. Luisnrd called alll-in for 2.3 million from the big blind and LOL_U_91 gave up his hand. Luisnrd ran his 10♥10♦ straight into jancsi69’s Q♦Q♠ and did not find a miracle on the 8♣8♥3♣4♦9♥ board. For seventh place, luisnrd earned $29,946.60.
LOL_U_91 snaps off jancsi69’s KK, sends him home in sixth
The dust had barely settled from that elimination when jancsi69 opened for 800,000 from UTG. Miltisgr called from UTG+1 and LOL_U_91 shoved for 8.4 million. The action folded back to jancsi69 who shoved for 10.5 million, folding out miltisgr. Jancsi69’s K♦K♥ led LOL_U_91’s A♥Q♥ and improved to top set on the K♣7♥ flop. However, LOL_U_91 turned the J♦ to wrest away the lead with a Broadway straight. Jancsi69 needed to pair the board but got the 4♠ instead and plummeted to 2.11 million in chips while LOL_U_91 took the chip lead with 18.4 million.
Four hands later, jancsi69 open-shoved from the cutoff with A♦8♥, only to run headlong into LOL_U_91’s A♠A♥ in the small blind. Jancsi69 got no help on the 10♦6♣3♦9♣8♦ board and exited in sixth place ($43,558.40).
LOL_U_91 gets KO #4, miltisgr out in fifth
Now up over 30 million in chips, LOL_U_91 expanded his lead even further. Raising again to 800,000 UTG, LOL_U_91 got one caller in miltisgr from the big blind. The flop fell 4♥3♣2♠ and miltisgr moved all-in for 4.88 million. LOL_U_91 called an turned over 2♣3♥ for two pair while miltisgr showed a stone bluff with 9♦7♣. Miltisgr blanked out on the turn and river with the Q♠ and the A♣, ending his run in fifth place ($57,170.40).
Shane Gamble busts in fourth
Agnik80 was the short stack with 4.88 million when four-handed play commenced but he soon doubled through LOL_U_91 when his 7♣7♦ held up against A♦8♣. Less than five minutes later, Shane Gamble open-shoved for 10.75 million on the button and agnik80 called all-in for 8.31 million from the big blind. Agnik80’s A♦K♥ held up against Shane Gamble’s K♦9♦ and he doubled to 18.1 million. Shane Gamble was left with 1.93 million and moved in with J♦6♦ on the next hand, but did not improve vs. LOL_U_91’s J♣10♥. For fourth place, Shane Gamble earned $74,866.00.
Pimmss falls to LOL_U_91 in third
When three-handed play began, LOL_U_91 still had a commanding chip lead with 40 million, agnik80 was second with 17.8 million and Pimmss was the short stack with 10.25 million. Pimmss fell to 7.56 million in chips before he called LOL_U_91’s small blind shove with A♥Q♥ in the big blind. LOL_U_91 revealed K♣10♦ and picked up a gutshot straight draw on the J♣9♥5♣ flop. The 8♥ turn was a blank but LOL_U_91 rivered the K♦ to make top pair. Pimmss was eliminated in third place and took home $108,896.00 for his finish.
Heads-up chip counts
Seat 3: agnik80 (11,454,144 in chips)
Seat 7: LOL_U_91 (56,605,856 in chips)
LOL_U_91 whittled agnik80 down to 8.8 million in chips before he doubled to 17.6 million with A♣8♥ vs. A♥3♣. Agnik80 kept chopping out small pots and had chipped up to 23.2 million when he min-raised to 1.6 million on the button with 2♦7♦. LOL_U_91 called and they saw a 5♥4♠3♦ flop. Both players checked and the A♠ came on the turn. LOL_U_91 checked again, agnik80 bet 1.2 million with his wheel and LOL_U_91 raised to 4,771,200. Agnik80 reraised to 8,342,400, LOL_U_91 shoved and agnik80 called all-in only to watch LOL_U_91 roll over 6♥7♥ for the nut straight. The river was the inconsequential 5♦ and with a seven-high straight, LOL_U_91 claimed victory.
