Joao “Naza114” Vieira, who won the SCOOP leader board in 2017, is back among the winners. He took down SCOOP 12-L, a $109 buy-in hold’em tournament, for $72K. Conor “1_conor_b_1” Beresford was third for his first deep run of the SCOOP. “Naza114” is also currently sitting second of seven remaining in the $2,100 Omaha Hi/Lo.
The British mixed game specialist Benny “RunGodlike” Glaser, a three-time WSOP bracelet winner, picked up another major COOP title in SCOOP 13-M, the $215 FL 2-7 Triple Draw. He won a PLO title in the WCOOP last autumn (“PLO is probably my sixth or seventh best game“), and is a previous SCOOP champion. This one goes down as one of the least surprising title victories of the series.
It was another superlative performance by Belgium’s “merla888” who won SCOOP 14-H $2,100 6-Max on the same night that he or she finished sixth in the 2-7 Triple Draw. “merla888” is a former SCOOP and WCOOP champion in draw games, but this NLHE title further underlines the player’s exceptional skills, and was worth $109,181.43.
Both “MLS20” and “krakukra” are also both former COOP winners, who added another title to their collection last night. “MLS20” won a 3 Max turbo at WCOOP last year, while “krakukra” won a $10K 8-Game title in 2015.
The UK’s “gordon0410” won the biggest prize of SCOOP 2019 so far when he beat a stacked final table in SCOOP 12-H, with a $10,300 buy-in. Sam “Str8$$$Homey” was ninth, former EPT champion Aliaksei “ale6ka” Boika was eighth, Kristen “krissyb24” Bicknell was fifth, Ognyan “cocojamb0” Dimov was fourth, Sebastian “p0cket00” Sikorski was third and Luuk “pokerluka” Giele was second. Vieira also came 14th in the $1,050 medium buy-in version.

LEADER BOARD UPDATE
There’s a $25,000 cash prize for the winner of the SCOOP overall leader board, and already the competition is fierce. “krakukra”‘s latest win put the Russian to the top of the leader board, although another final table appearance from “Daenarys T” put the Dutch player in second place. In the “High” leader board, sorted only for results from the high buy-in events, the order is reverse. Daenarys T leads there, with krakukra second.
