We’re fast approaching the final weekend of SCOOP 2016 when a splurge of events will crown dozens of winners; even into Monday given we’ve added extra events to the schedule, which you can read about here.
In the meantime we have another day of results, which you can read in full on our SCOOP results page, which also links through to every final table report. Before that though here are some of the highlights from the past 24 hours.
And if the quality of a SCOOP title depends on the quality of opposition that they were required to beat then otitov’s latest win is gold plated. Nick “TheTakeover” Schulman, Andrey “kroko-dill” Zaichenko, and Dan “djk123” Kelly also reached the final table. Read Al Rash’s report for the full story.
Talking of Nick Schulman, he’s having a memorable SCOOP season having already clocked up one title. Yesterday reached two final tables. As well as the one above, he came third in SCOOP 39-H in what proved to be arguably the highlight of the day, with Adam “Adamyid” Owen, and Team Pro Jason Mercier reaching the final table, won eventually by Paul “paulgees81” Volpe for $93,300, who in turn made a heads up deal with runner up Mark “SHIPP ITT” Herm. It was a cracker, and you can read Jason Kirk’s report to find out why.
In terms of the leader board there’s very little change, although another final table finish for Jason Mercier means he closes the gap between himself in third place and both Vladimir “vovtroy” Troyanovskiy and Shaun Deeb ahead of him. Here’s how the table looks going into the weekend.
