SCOOP 2015: Calvin “cal42688” Anderson tops Shaun Deeb with 6th career SCOOP title; binks Event #13-H [$2,100 Stud]

May 14, 2015

SCOOP Event #13-High Stud featured a stacked final table. Six out of the eight final table combatants had previously won SCOOP events, four players were WCOOP champions, and two players had shipped a Sunday Million. The notables included: shaundeeb (5 SCOOP titles and 2 WCOOP titles), cal42688 (5 SCOOP titles and 1 WCOOP), djk123 (4 WCOOP titles and 2 SCOOP titles), and Kroko-dill (won the Sunday Million, 1 SCOOP, and 1 WCOOP).

You could not have scripted a more epic final table with a deeper online pedigree that featured the two of the greatest all-time SCOOP players (Deeb and cal42688), the most dominant WCOOP champion (djk123), plus the legendary Kroko-dill, who only needed a TCOOP win to secure an elusive Stars Slam.

Calvin “cal42688” Anderson entered the 2015 SCOOP on a quest to nudge ahead of Shaun Deeb for career SCOOP wins. Deeb was trying to do the same. In Event #13-H, he was derailed in fourth place, but cal42688 went all the way defeating djk123 heads-up en route to a win. This ground-breaking victory marked cal42688’s sixth overall SCOOP title, which made him the most successful SCOOP player ever, with more SCOOP wins than anyone else.
