Monaco may be the lap of luxury where the hyper-rich go to play, but the European Poker Tour is ready to roll out a red carpet for you.
Today, The PokerStars and Monte-Carlo® Casino European Poker Tour Grand Final announced an eleven-day 48-event schedule with more low buy-in tournaments than ever before.
Kicking off on April 23 and running to May 2, the Monaco event will partner with the France Poker Series to offer 21 events priced at €500 or less. If you ever wanted to spend some time in one of the world’s richest cities but not blow your whole roll, this is the way to do it.
And if you’re a high roller and want to play big, the EPT and FPS have you covered on that, too. Included on the schedule are the €1,100 FPS Monaco Main Event. the €10,600 EPT Main Event, a €2,200 FPS High Roller, a €25,500 EPT High Roller, and a monster €100,000 Super High Roller.
It all kicks off just two days after EPT San Remo. In all, you can spend three weeks roaming around the Italian and French Riviera in the springtime.
“The EPT has been leading the way in live poker for ten years, and this year’s EPT Grand Final will be the biggest and best ever. With more tournaments than ever before at lower buy-ins alongside our other events plus a wide range of cash games, a greater variety of players will be able to experience the EPT, creating a fuller festival atmosphere,” EPT President Edgar Stuchly said. “The EPT is a tour dedicated to providing an enjoyable and world-class poker experience for everyone, with a choice of games and buy-ins that that you simply cannot find anywhere else.”
Cash games, you say?
Indeed. There will be 40 cash game tables running every day from noon until 6am. These games will be run by the EPT, so the action will be fast, the rake will be reasonable, and the dealers will be as good as ever. In addition to Hold’em and Omaha, the EPT will offer all forms of Stud, Draw, Open-Face Chinese and Open-Face Chinese Pineapple.
