Martin Harris is a long-time poker reporter and writer who regularly contributes to various outlets, including reporting on online and live tournaments for the PokerStars Blog since 2008. Once a full-time academic teaching college writing and literature, Martin currently teaches part-time at UNC Charlotte where he offers a course in American Studies, "Poker in American Film and Culture." His new book "Poker & Pop Culture: Telling the Story of America's Favorite Card Game" was published by D&B Poker in June 2019.
