This is the biggest poker festival in the world outside of Las Vegas, so it’s no surprise the best players are here. Many of them are Team PokerStars Pros, the elite band of merry men and women who travel the world and fly the PokerStars flag (or at least wear Team Pro patches). While they excel at poker, and several of them are still doing just that in the $100,000 Super High Roller today, they are also good ambassadors for the game.
Want a photo with one of them, or an autograph? It’s never a problem (unless they’re in the middle of a hand). In fact, they are happy to take questions and chat, so feel free to say hello if you happen to be here in Atlantis.
But if you don’t get a chance to approach them direct, PokerStars has set up some question and answer sessions with our pros that are open to all. A whole host of glittering names will be on hand each morning, starting this Sunday, to chat and answer your questions. You just need to be in the Adonis Room (on the left as you approach the main tournament area) at 11am.
Here’s the running order, which naturally may be subject to change:
January 8: Barry Greenstein
January 9: WSOP bracelet winners ElkY, Eugene Katchalov and Max Lykov
January 10: WSOP bracelet winners Pius Heinz (Main Event champion), Andre Akkari and Jason Mercier
January 11: Randy ‘Nanonoko’ Lew from Team PokerStars Online
January 12: Daniel Negreanu
January 13: Vanessa Rousso, Vanessa Selbst and Liv Boeree
That’s quite a line-up and I’m certain the events will be popular, so don’t miss your chance to meet with and listen to the thoughts of some of the best players around. They’d love for you to be there.
