No one needs an excuse to go to Paris. The French capital is one of the world’s most wonderful cities, steeped in history and culture; richly diverse and the heartbeat at the centre of continental Europe.
But here’s one more reason to head there this December: the latest chance to win a Platinum Pass to the PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC).
From December 16-22, Club Montmartre in Paris’s elegant 9th arrondissement will host the latest Road To PSPC event, a €330 buy-in tournament with a first prize bolstered by a Platinum Pass.
That’s right: the winner of this tournament will be heading to Barcelona next August with the most coveted sliver of metal in world poker, worth approximately $30,000. The Platinum Pass comes with the huge PSPC tournament buy-in, plus a six-night trip to Barcelona for you and a guest including hotel, flights, transfer and expenses.
The Main Event will have eight starting flights, with two per day from Monday December 16 through Thursday December 19. Two day twos will play on Friday December 20, before a Day 3 on Saturday and the grand final on Sunday December 22. The final two days will be streamed live online.
There is also a high roller event, running December 21-22, with a €660 buy-in.
Team PokerStars Pro Kalidou Sow will be in attendance, as well as some of French poker’s most celebrated talents. But you can upset all of them by beating them to the Platinum Pass. Look out for live and online qualifying events, so you can join the tournament on the cheap.
