The latest chapter of Jason Mercier’s World Series summer closed last night, not with a fifth bracelet win as he might have hoped, but the closest thing to it.
Mercier finished second in the $10,000 Razz Championship last night, narrowly beaten to a second bracelet in three days by Ray Dehkharghani, who also picked up the $273,338 first prize.

That said, the Series is not even at the half way point and Mercier is unlikely to be done. He features prominently in the $10,000 HORSE, currently 17th in chips at the end of the first day with 66 players remaining.
At some point during this World series Jason Mercier might not be the PokerStars story of the summer, but right now that doesn’t look like happening any time soon.
