EPT11 Prague: Busquet on Barcelona, benevolence and bromances

December 10, 2014

Olivier Busquet is a man with many strings to his bow, of which playing poker extremely well is just one. The New Yorker is a renowned poker commentator and with a degree in philosophy, and a touch more life experienced than your average professional poker player, he’s often a voice of reason when poker arguments develop on social media.

Busquet – not your average poker player

Of course you need to have some poker ability to back up everything else and as mentioned above Busquet certainly does. He took down the EPT100 Super High Roller in Barcelona – partly due to that hand – and PokerStars TV caught up with him to talk about Barcelona, a trip to El Salvador and Honduras for the One Drop foundation and a blossoming bromance with a fellow poker player.

Full coverage of the EPT Prague Poker Festival is on the main EPT Prague page. Super High Roller coverage, including blow-by-blow updates in the panel at the top, is on the Super High Roller page. And the Eureka main event is into it’s penultimate day and playing on. That’s on the Eureka Prague page.
