So, here's more than a quarter million dollars. It's not going to hold you for the rest of your life, but if you're 25 years old, it's going to feel pretty darned good to get it.
Now, keep in mind, you need to get to class. You're in law school and you're sort of expected to show up.
What do you do?
This is a question that the man known as lelijk22 has been facing this week after winning $274,260 in WCOOP Event #26, $215 No-Limit Hold'em. He beat out nearly 10,000 players to book the win and the WCOOP bracelet.
What is he doing? He's tempering his excitement with a little reality.
"Poker has become more and more important in my life and I've considered being a full time pro, but I want to finish my law school and maybe I'll become a laywer in the future," he said.

The big win almost didn't happen. With 50 people left in his event, he got pocket jacks all-in against a big stack's big slick. His opponent flopped a king and it looked like it was going to be all over. The turn brought an eight. And the river...a jack.
"That was the moment I knew I was going to go on and win this tourney," he said,
Having played poker for four years now, lelijk22 (which, translated to English would look a lot like the word 'ugly') is doing the online equivalent of taking his tournament winnings, tossing them on a hotel bed, and rolling around in money for a while. That is to say, he's considering his options and enjoying the possibilities.
"I'll use the money maybe to buy a nice car, a lot of vacation trips, and playing some EPT's in Europe I think. And trying to beat 5/10 and 10/20 at PokerStars," he said.
