A crib clown teen power!
Think on that for a second. Let it rest on your noodle while we introduce one of WCOOP's newest bracelet winners, Thomas "soterdelf" Osterfeld.
It's been just a couple of days since Osterfeld won $174,594 in the WCOOP $215 rebuy tournament.
"It was a great feeling," said the man who is no stranger to big cashes. "The new and exciting feeling to me was to know it's being recorded and commented afterwards. Especially great to me was winning a bracelet."
Still a fulltime student, Osterfeld finances his life playing poker. He's been playing since just before poker took off in his native Germany.
"I had two major cashes before," he said, "but this one is the biggest...so far."
At age twenty-five, Osterfeld is yet another example of the people who have turned nothing into riches. His entire bankroll is based on the money he deposited to play penny cash game tables. Now he's toying with the idea of going pro. He certainly has the mindset for it.
"I manage to stay focussed and disciplined, even if it's not going well at the moment," he said.
For now, it's going pretty well. At least that's what it looks like from the perspective of someone who doesn't have a WCOOP bracelet.
If you were wondering about his screen name, by the way, it's simply an anagram of of the last name Osterfeld.
And the title of this post, that wonderful A Crib Clown Teen Power?
Well, that's an anagram for WCOOP bracelet winner.
