PokerStars has just released its 2008 World Championship of Online Poker schedule and it's twice as rich as 2007. PokerStars is guaranteeing $30,000,000 over 33 different events. This year's schedule includes several new events, including:
The 2008 WCOOP runs from September 5-21 and if my calculations are correct stands to be the biggest online tournament series in history. A $30 million guarantee is almost as cool as the schedule itself. Just when you think PokerStars has reached its innovation zenith, it comes up with something else. Triple Draw, Single Draw, Four-Max, $25,000 buy-ins. What's next?
