It was announced this week that the World Blogger Championship of Online Poker is returning to PokerStars! For the eighth time, bloggers around the globe will have an opportunity to play for money and prizes in WBCOOP.
It's going to be exciting, as always, with 31 tournaments over the course of 11 days at the beginning of March. The first 30 tournaments will award SCOOP tickets to the top finishers, and every player who cashes in those events will be awarded a seat in the Main Event with a $5,000 cash prize pool. There will also be PokerStars Team Pros in the tournaments, each with a $22 bounty.
There are even more chances to win. The "Best Blogger" will receive a cash prize of $5,000 and "Best Live Tweeter" throughout the series will be awarded $1,000. More prizes will be available, including more SCOOP tickets and $5,000 worth of tournament dollars, for top finishers on the WBCOOP Leaderboard.
And ladies, the "Best Female Blogger" will receive $500. We know you're out there, and this is a great way to gain some exposure for your blog, invite friends to play, and win a nice bankroll boost of $500.
The rules are simple:
1. Write a 500-word blog post on your blog or create a video before March 9 telling us about your best moment playing on PokerStars.
3. Share the link with your friends and family on social media.
Once your entry is verified, you will be awarded 10 tickets to any of the WBCOOP tournaments you choose.
