We've made it through another week, and we have plenty of tweets to go through. We know you're just as busy as we are, so sometimes it's hard to keep up with all of Team PokerStars' tweets and that's why we're here. We're finding the best tweets from the week to get you caught up on all of the goings on from the members of our team. Here goes nothing.
First we're going to start with the battle of the cuteness. Jason Mercier and Vanessa Selbst both have very cute little pups and they like to post very cute pictures of their very cute little pups, and so we have the battle of the cuteness.
Jason Mercier: "I miss my pup :( best pup ever "
Vanessa Selbst: "Indie is helping out around the house while I'm away..."
Who wins? We're not getting in the middle of that.
In other news, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier's new website is up, "My new site is finally online ! http://www.elky.com Please let me know how you guys think i could improve it ! (sections, challenges,...)," and he also like to tease us with photos of macaroons - "Cheat day in Paris just before playing day 1b of WPT. #artoftiming #timetoshipit."
Obviously, the pros are still working on getting WCOOP bling, but none harder than Lex Veldhuis who has a busted computer and has been trying to get it fixed for quite some time. "On my way to the computer store for the 6th time. They cant seem to fix my resolution problems. This is more tilting than 9max Limit Holdem." Sixth time's the charm? That's how that saying goes right?
We all know Daniel Negreanu is on the WCOOP grind in Toronto, but that doesn't mean he isn't thinking about his moves on the live felt - whenever that day comes again. "Next time I play live poker and a guy tanks for more than 90 seconds I'm going to sing this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Uee_mcxvrw ... till he decides."
Dear anyone in the future who could be at Negreanu's table, we watched the first 25 seconds of that video and we beg you, please make your decisions quickly.
To leave you, we're going to toot our own horn a little. Here's Rafa Nadal's new PokerStars ad.
Victoria Coren liked it, but had other thoughts on the ending. "Personally I think it would be funnier if, instead of going all in, he fell down a manhole. #RejectedForAnAdvertisingJob."
Thank you PokerStars ad team for not letting Rafa fall into a manhole. We don't think we could take the "so that's why he didn't play the Olympics and US Open" rumors.
