Brokos: Hello, and goodbye

PokerStars Team Online at Atlantis

I'm sad to say that I won't be staying on as a member of PokerStars Team Online in 2012. It was a great honor and a great experience to be a member of the team, but so much has changed since I joined the team last year. Now that I'm...more

TCOOP: Not everyone loves turbos (but you probably should)

Shane Schleger

Not everyone loves turbos, and I've heard some of my peers bemoan the lack of deepstacked, early level play with 100+ BBs. But from my perspective, deepstacked play is simply not the most important skill for a tournament player, and regardless of the speed of the structure, your success in...more

Talonchick getting another close-up

Adrienne Rowsome

There is just something about Adrienne "talonchick" Rowsome. Maybe it's that she's the girl next door. Maybe it's that she can eviscerate unsuspecting poker opponents in the blink of an eye. Whatever it is, the people with the cameras can't get enough of her. First, Rowsome was the subject of...more

PCA 2012: Team Online Scavenger Hunt

I'm sorry? You said I'm a target?

Imagine this scene: Shane "shaniac" Schelger walks into Atlantis' Coral Lobby bar area. He's looking for the restroom (it's around the corner to your right, Shane) before heading up to his room to get some rest before the main event starts. Someone near the bar whispers, "I think that's shaniac."...more
