Tom McEvoy has been winning major poker titles since way back. He won two WSOP* bracelets in 1983, including the Main Event, earning a combined total of $657,000. He won a second bracelet in the $1,000 Limit Razz event in 1986 for $42,400, followed by another in 1992 in the $1,500 Limit Omaha event for $79,200. Showing that he can still cut it with the best of the new breed, Tom scored one for the old guard in 2009 when he won the Champions Invitational tournament, earning the Binion’s Cup and some well-earned bragging rights. Tom plays online at PokerStars using the screen name ‘TomMcEvoy’.
