After a run of consistent cash finishes in live events around Europe, Peter Eastgate got to live out every poker player’s dream when he beat a field of thousands to take down the World Series of Poker* Main Event for $9,152,416. His hot run of results has continued since, with a side event win at the 2009 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) for $343,000. He also came close to winning his first European Poker Tour (EPT) title when he finished runner-up at EPT London in October 2009, good for another $843,734. Peter plays online at PokerStars using the screen name ‘PeteEastgate’.
