John Duthie Bio
John Duthie is the brains behind the European Poker Tour (EPT), but he isn’t just a skilled businessman. He became the first player to win a million-dollar payday in a televised poker tournament when he took down the prestigious Poker Million event in 2000. He’s also cashed in many other big events since then, and came close to winning a WSOP* bracelet when he finished as runner-up in the $10,000 World Championship Heads-Up event in June 2009 for $386,636. John finished second for $250,000 in an event in the PokerStars Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). You can find him at PokerStars using the screen name ‘JohnDuthie’.
