Joe Cada’s life changed forever at the 2009 World Series of Poker*. After cashing in two pre-lim tournaments, he played the Main Event and ended up as one of the final nine. He returned in November and won the title for a huge payday of $8,546,435. Proving his WSOP* success was no fluke, he’s continued to cash at the biggest events since, including an 11th place finish in the High Roller event at the 2010 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA). He’s also performed well online, and won $128,872 for winning a World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) 2nd Chance event in September 2009. He plays online at PokerStars using the screen name ‘jcada99’.
