The man with the perfect name for a poker champion was responsible for kick-starting the poker revolution. He qualified for the WSOP* Main Event in 2003 via a PokerStars satellite for an initial outlay of just $39. He went on to win the tournament, becoming the first genuine amateur to take the title, helping to generate huge interest in online poker in the process. Since then Chris has continued to cash at the biggest live and online events, proving that his success in 2003 was far from a fluke. He plays online at PokerStars using the screen name ‘Money800’.
