But even more impressive is the prize pool, also announced today. The 935 who turned up in Monte Carlo for the EPT Grand Final produced a total pot of €9,350,000, of which the winner, decided this weekend, will take €2,300,000. That's €280,000 more than Glen Chorny earned last year and is the biggest tournament first prize in European poker history.
