Isabelle Mercier's hands always sparkle, her fingers I mean, thanks to an assortment of shiny rings and bracelets, but for a short period a few moments ago they shone even more thanks to a double up hand which took Mercier to 25K and into the realm of chip leader land.
With four cards on the board - J♥-2♠-6♦-9♠ - Mercier moved all-in with pocket nines, called in a flash by her opponent who tabled pocket aces. While he may no longer believe in the legend of such hands, they looked pretty good for Mercier.

That's not the case for all PokerStars representatives, but Ambassador Boris Becker, playing his fourth EPT, is headed in the right direction. He's added a new weapon to his ever increasing poker arsenal, a pair of ladies sunglasses which may or may not be borrowed. Either way they work to good effect when he bet out on a flop of 2♦-K♦-9♦, forcing the original pre-flop raiser to muck his pocket threes.
