WCOOP 2022 runs September 4-28, with $85 million in guaranteed prizes. This year will feature 322 tournaments, with buy-ins from $5.50 to $10,300. There are plenty of ways to qualify for higher buy-in events for a lower cost. This is your guide to WCOOP 2022 satellites and Phase tournaments.
To find WCOOP 2022 satellites, click on the ‘WCOOP 2022’ tab on the PokerStars lobby, then click on either ‘MTT sats’ or ‘SNG sats’.
From here, you’ll see the full list of upcoming satellite tournaments.
Right now, you’ll see lots of MTT sats for the WCOOP NLHE Main Events, as well as satellites for the upcoming World Championship of Progressive Knockout NLHE. As specific events approach, more satellites will appear on the schedule.
Generally speaking, buy-ins for satellites run for ten, or even five percent of the direct buy-in for the corresponding event.
As usual, there will be three WCOOP NLHE Main Events. And as usual, PokerStars want to make sure as many players as possible can gain entry, even if the events are outside of your usual bankroll balance.
Here are details of the Main Events and the satellites you can take a stab at to gain entry:

WCOOP 2022 includes three Phase tournaments, one for each buy-in level.
If you haven’t played Phase tourneys before, here’s how they work. Players enter Phase 1 and play for a set number of blind levels. Once the time is up, anyone who has survived carries their chip stack over to Phase 2 and competes for a share of the (massive) prize pools.
Here are the WCOOP 2022 Phase tourneys:
You could get through to Phase 2 on your first attempt, but plan to fire several bullets to give yourself the best chance. Phase 1s are running now until close to the end of the series.
