We're deep into the final level of the day and the big screen says that 90 players remain. If they continue to fall at the same rate they have been for the past eight and a half hours, there will probably be about 85 players bagging up chips tonight.
Among them, barring last-gasp catastrophe, will be the Team PokerStars Pros Gavin Griffin, Victor Ramdin, Vanessa Rousso, Alex Kravchenko and Vicky Coren. Also there are the notable online whizzes Sorel "Imper1um" Mizzi, Joe "bigegypt" Alpayaa, Michael "SirWatts" Watson, Michael "Martine23" Martin, and Isaac Haxton. By my reckoning, the tournament chip leader looks like it could be the PokerStars qualifier Carter Gill, who also qualified for EPT Barcelona, the LAPT in Punta del Este, and who has also had a couple of cashes on the APPT to add to a final table at the WSOP.
We'll get some more counts just before they start bagging and a full official list will be given to us over night, which we'll publish as soon as we get them.
