You know what's good about being a PokerStars VIP Club Supernova?
Everything. That's what.
But, if we're going to be specific, how about this? Imagine yourself a poker player who is just sitting there one night doing the whole Supernova thing when your cell phone rings. It's someone from PokerStars who has access to a stretch limo, some sweet dinner reservations, and an apparent unlimited amount of champagne.
That's what happened recently when some of the PokerStars hosts started feeling generous and called up Antonio 'Tanf07' Martinez, Michael 'wazzbot' Piper, Gavin 'gavz101' Cochrane, Tom 'tjbentham' Bentham, and Phil 'Jackal69' Shaw. Before long, they were atop the London Eye, 180 meters above the city, and downing bubbly in what would later be dubbed the "Champagne Supernova" moment. (Note: if you're needing to feel superior to the Supernovas, ask them to open a bottle of champagne. Apparently sick poker ability's don't translate well to popping a cork on a bottle.)
After that, it was off to some private dinner reservations where the boys exchanged war stories and made liberal use of the bartenders talents. Said gavz101, "This is truly a breath of fresh air and a great way to end the week."
This is, quite simply, how PokerStars and their Supernovas roll.
