How much would you enjoy watching some people run up 920 steps to the top of one of London's tallest buildings? How much would you enjoy it if 1,500 people were doing it?
Alright, then how much would you like it if Liv Boeree were there huffing and puffing with the rest of them?
Very good then. Read on.
On March 5, Boeree and four other Team PokerStars Pros will make the grand ascent to the top of London's Tower 42 . The UK Team Pro will be joined by Joao Nunes, Henrique Pinho, George Danzer, and a player to be named later in the charity climb called the Vertical Rush. It's all in support of London's Shelter charity, an organization that supports the homeless in London.
According to Shelter, nearly 14,000 London homes are at risk for repossession and tens of thousands of people are already living without homes. Vertical Rush is meant to help the people who are having a hard time keeping a roof over thier heads.
In total, Vertical Rush is expected to raise more than £300,000 for Shelter and its efforts.
Stay tuned for more in the coming days to watch Team Pro limber up for the big climb and learn how you can be involved.
