VIP Club changes good for all in 2013

The PokerStars VIP team have been working hard* on some exciting new changes to next year's VIP Club, including the introduction of a new VIP level, quicker steps up those early levels and an ongoing PokerStars Hall of Fame. Take a look at some of the big changes and go through to the VIP Club page to find out more.

ChromeStar: a new level

A new monthly VIP status named 'ChromeStar' will be introduced, which sits just between the BronzeStar everyone starts on and what used to be the first significant step on the VIP ladder, SilverStar. The monthly VIP Player Point (VPP) requirement to achieve or maintain ChromeStar VIP status will be an easily achievable 100 VPPs. ChromeStar streamlines you into a new VIP $5,000 weekly tournament and grants access to the 100K Privilege Freerolls.

Brighter, faster: move up the levels quicker

From next year it's going to be easier and quicker to move up through the levels thanks to decreased VIP status requirements.

SilverStar: 500 VPPs needed (down from 750)

GoldStar: 2,500 VPPs needed (down from 3,000)

Yeah, that's right. You eyeballin' the 10 million VPP man

Hall of Fame: the million-point club
If you click here you will find the current line-up of the PokerStars Hall of Fame. Team Online's George 'Jorj95' Lind is the undoubted leader with more than 10 million points earned. Perhaps this astronomical number of points shouldn't be surprising since he once managed to earn 100,000 VPPs in a single day! If you get to a million VPPs or more you'll get your name in the Hall of Fame, and pick up some other bonuses, including a PokerStars hotline.

You can take a look at all the changes in detail here.
