EPT Prague starts next week, satellites still running

The EPT Prague poker festival kicks off next week and its bigger than ever. In all there are 38 different tournaments scheduled across 11 days (5-15 December) in the Czech capital. While the €5,300 EPT Main Event is, well, the main event, there are tournaments of all shapes and sizes all the way from an adrenaline-charged €120 hyper-turbo all the way up to a €10,300 single-reload High Roller. Find the full tournament schedule here.

If you've never been to Prague, you really should go. It's an incredible place to explore whether you're a culture vulture (unlikely), history buff (possible) or beer connoisseur (pretty much nailed on). Don't forget about the EPT Concierge service who can sort you out with a whole lot of fun, including a Laser Quest battle. Yes, you read that correctly: there's a Laser Quest Challenge.

Last year's winner, German Martin Finger, has confirmed that he'll be back to defend his title but considering we're yet to score a double EPT champ you've got to say the odds are against him. Finger won €720,000 for coming out on top of the 722-strong field last December.

Martin Finger: reigning EPT Prague champ

The EPT is partnering up with the Eureka Poker Tour which starts on 5 December and runs into the main EPT festival. Satellites for both the EPT and Eureka Main Events are still running on PokerStars. The last Eureka qualifier takes place on Sunday in two guaranteed tournaments.
