We hope you're aware of all the free money that PokerStars has been giving away in this most recent run on the Road to 100 Billion. More than three-quarters of a million, $763,478.60 to be precise, has been parachuted into players' accounts simply for playing. Every millionth hand dealt between 89,700,000,000 and 90,000,000,000 is paused so that a tournament host can explain what's going on: i.e. that they're about to win a lot of money.
We're currently approaching that 90 billionth hand, but there's still around 59 Milestones left to hit (just 59,000,000 hands then) culminating in the Mega Milestone which will pay out everyone big time. If you want to know what 'big time' means, take a look below. That Mega Milestone is due to hit tomorrow so keep a close eye on the @PokerStarsBlog Twitter account and/or the countdown in the main PokerStars lobby.
What do you get paid?
On most of the Milestone hands you'll get paid out like this:
Dealt into Milestone Hand: (# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $60) + $20 = your prize
Win Milestone Hand: (# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $60 + $20) x 2 = your prize
Dealt into Mega Milestone:(# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $1,000) + $10,000 = your prize
Win Mega Milestone: (# of VPPs in last 50 hands x $1,000 + $10,000) x 2 = your prize
The biggest Milestone so far hit yesterday at a $10-$20 fixed-limit Hold'em table which saw yandex18 pocket an incredible $20,345.20 bonus. You can check out all the Road to 100 Billion winners so far here.
