Anyone who has been around poker in the past ten years has come to terms with the coin-flippy nature of the game. You either win your flips or you don't. It's the nature of the beast. Damon Runyon once wrote, "Life is 6 to 5 against." In poker, many times it's all about the 50-50.
PokerStars has found a way to make the 50-50 a lot more fun with the introduction of the Fifty50 Sit & Go tourneys. The ten-handed events play just like a regular SNG until half of the tourney has been eliminated. Then what happens?
The tournament ends, that's what.
That is, when half of the field has been eliminated, the tournament ends, everybody gets their buy-in back, and the remainder of the prize pool is distributed based on the percentage of chips in each player's stack.
It's that simple. (Well, actually, it's a little more complicated than that, but for full details you should read the PokerStars Fifty50 rules).

I see a lot of regulars at DONs they have dissapeared?Are they satysfied?Do they want us to move to other companies?

For those complaining, give them a chance. I was very unsure of them at first, especially after I ran the initial math. But now that I have played a few hundred, I certainly think that they are interesting.
I also agree that we should have DONs OR 5050s... not both.. they are far to similar.
This is a cool addition, but please do not stop the regular double or nothings to make room for this addition.

If the fifty-50 does not appear on your sit & go 1 table game list, go to your 'sit and go tournament filter and activate fifty-50 in the Format/Variant column.
