We know you enjoy reading our wide selection of poker news, live event coverage and blogs as much as we take pleasure in putting it all together. Up until now, however, it's been a bit of a one-way process: we write it, you read it.
That's a little frustrating because, unless you email us or chat to us on a tournament floor somewhere, we never enjoy a conversation. What's more, you do not get to see what other readers have to say. And that's a shame.
No more! PokerStars Blog is today opening up comments, allowing you to give your view, offer the Blog Team large amounts of money ask a question, say hello, or get something off your chest. You can leave feedback/make requests on any of our posts, something that may be especially popular when we are live reporting from a tournament.
However, we're not going to try and run before we can walk. Initially we will only open up comments on a few posts to make sure things are working as they should. Once that's done, it's all systems go.
We'd ask politely that you respect a few sensible rules: no foul or abusive language, no html code, and no comments that attempt to advertise external sites. All comments will be moderated, so keep it clean, legal and fair or your comment will not get to see the light of day. Also, please keep comments relevant to the post under which they appear. We reserve the right to edit a comment if necessary.
We look forward to hearing from you, although there is not always something worth commenting on. Take this very ordinary picture of Team PokerStars Pro John Duthie, for example - seems quite normal to me...

Hallo freaks :)
first time ,
how come when the dealer says 1 minute remaining in the break there are actually 2 minutes to go ???
Also agree with many comments on the removal of city of origan, Australia is so big it doesn't mean much.As for Justin Graupp , I feel for u buddy, USA, the land of the opressed.
Lastly why do looser allways start looking up sharkscope or simular to justify ther loss and my bad play, hey that's poker.
Thanks for letting me have my say
omg..., amazing photo.
nice
well done 2 u dragon and all the other big finishers
well just got back onto poker after taking a six month break wow i have missed out started to get realy board so i took a break but now im back and i cant seem to leave lol
that´s a good idea you brought to the table, at least one should be able to change avatar once in a while. i´m so fed up with mine.
i love poker and it goes without saying that I love pokerstars. I've been playing here for quite a few years and I've had success and I've had slumps. The best thing about stars is that you know its the real deal and you can always find a game anytime. Congrats on 10 years, hope I'm still playin at the 20 yr anniversary.
2 suggestions.
...let us change our players names regularly (sometimes I think of a really cool name I'd like to have)
,,,bring back the old setup when you could input where you come from (I hate being stereotyped because of my location)
Hi, I really enjoy your blogs on live events and find them funny and informative. The one thing that really really annoys me though is the links. It's often really difficult to find the link to the most recent blog, or you don't notice that it there is a new page up because there is no top post to tell you the levels have gone up. Then if you do realise and press next at the top, sometimes you have to trawl through a few unrelated blogs before you get to the right one.
An easy way of fixing this would be to simply have the last (and top) post on a page be a link to the more recent level/blog. That way:
- If you're on the old page and refreshing you immediately know there is a new blog and are linked to it
- If you are looking for the latest link there are clear breadcrumbs to bring you there
- If you click through from the homepage to an old page, you can easily get to the new one
ncie;)
vere good all
I definitely agree. I really enjoyed pokerstars and playing in many of its tournaments but now I got nothing really compared to it to play on. kind of disappointing
the bests
nice picture
nice
nice look by the way
nise pic xexexexexexe
Did anyone see the black t shirt one of the final girls is wearing @ the WSOP tournament? It said "stop eyeballing my stack" with a row of poker chips across her chest. I would like to know where I could purchase one like that.
I really think it sucks that the USA can't yet work something out with PokerStars. I live in the USA and I was a player for years, that really was a blow just getting cut off like that. And I think it is pitiful that the USA supposed to be one of the FREEST countries in the world, but yet we are not allowed to play online poker. That's what i think, anyone els agree?
Good job!
Is pokerstars having any freeroll giveaways for wcoop tickets?
Hey, Jim. Good to hear from you. Hope life is treating you well (apart from the obvious).
Brad..how's family?..Simon.....miss u guys....this is soooooooo bad
i have been playing on this suite for a long time . I think it is about time something was done about sitting out. I think the best way to handel it is to let these people have a limited number of hands they could sit out per limit level.
During the course of the milestone promotion I was amazed at how many people folded at the lucky table. Perhaps players should pay more attention to the Poker Stars News. It's nice to know what's going on and can cost you money if you dont.
holland and belgium are two different country's
tell that to the person who is writing the snowfest blog on this moment
damn wish i could have been there if it wasnt for this stupid man flu
Like any good Poker Player, Dan sometimes gets stumbled but he some how manages to put things back into perspective. 'Like Canada with Hockey." --Go Canada Go--
Jst to say that dean hutchison is stil in and it says he was put out 45th and i cant find a chip count for him. Thanks
Can i have a picture of simon cawley who is playing the ukipt manchester today (thursday) thx ps he as just text me to tell me he as started very well and got 40k thx
next year can pokerstars start the anniversary sunday million earlier so that people in europe dont have to stay awake all night.
It started at 21.30 in the uk, too late with 59000 entrants.
Arghhh, You know that in this day and age its a joke that they have women only tournaments, for so many reasons! What is it, the 1940's
Where are the men only tournaments?
Hmm, there are none, so that is discrimination too?
There is either equality or there isn't, women should be a bit embarrassed and speak up too :-)
Hi! Five!
About: "The Poker Star" I noticed that in episode 4 during the tourney Ron had Ace Eight in the cutoff while being short stacked, and Ben had pocket Eights and doesn't call? What the f? and Joe H wrongly calls Ben's hand 10 3 off? What was that all about? This is truly puzzling. Why the hell wouldn't Ben call, he was last to act and the call would have put Ron and him heads up. Who wouldn't make that call heads up against a short stack with a moderate pocket pair? Really really bizarre that that hand played out like that.
loving the coverage of the ukipt notts as gaz is currently chipleader and looking to bring this home for newcastle, personally know gaz and really chuffed for him,
Nice game in the 2000 steps Sir Zoutechamps.
Congrats mauri500
Don't like your change showing countries only.
It's more interesting knowing cities - especially in the USA.
My opinion only.
Can't beleive your taking away the opition to play the DoN's I've talked with several others and have yet to talk with someone who doesn't want them to stay. PS has done a lot of good things on the site, however, taking away these DoNs is not good . If they were not being played I could understand but they are. Why not leave both (50/50, DoN) and let the players decide what they want to play.
i can't believe your taking away the option of the double or nothing games for those of us that like playing them.
when you do, i believe i'm taking my money and my playing time to another site. thanks for having me
How come no cities, that was fun knowing where people are from?
Glad to be here!
Behind every good player.... is a woman pressing buttons!!!

This my first blog. I have been playing on PokerStars for 5 years now. I have just recently took the time to go through the PSO, I found it it to be very informatve and have a better understanding on losing hands.
I would also like to join a PS home online team any takers?
chshowdn
Even playing field.
It is not right when "Pros" complain about some things, for example, the seats they end up in. Either it's a random draw, or it isnt - end of issue. I do hope that the table break order was also defined in advance, and not influenced by who might moan.
Wow....Thats a squeeze play
does anyone know where the non smoking cash poker rooms are in macau??
This is by far my favorite Poker site! Not sure if John Duthie is enjoying that head massage?
I'm really disappointed to hear that the Women's Poker League has been put on hold until you roll out the new format! I hope that it will be soon!!!!! When will we hear what you're planning?
it would be nice if the poor players don,t have more nickel/dime limit games like 7-5 low draw and othergames as well thank you rolandroland
The PokerStars is the best room of Poker online.
When are you going to have an IPAD app
Whats wrong with thee start of the Big game?? Supposed to start at 14:30 and hasnt started yet??

Lol obviously a picture of female employee at Madame Tussauds London Wax Museum putting a cheap fake hairpiece on dummy mannequin. You can tell by the glazed vacuuous look in the eyes that this is not a real poker player! /lol/
about time we had a say and maybe each pro could have a section for asking question and following their action.
I believe he has seen a royal flush drawing on the table /lol/

@Markis: Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu has won four WSOP bracelets, but none of them have been in the Main Event...
1998, $2,000 Pot Limit Hold'em, $169,460
2003, $2,000 S.H.O.E., $100,440
2004, $2,000 Limit Hold'em, $169,100
2008, $2,000 Limit Hold'em, $204,874
I saw you said the new WSOP champion was the first Canadian to win it.
I know Daniel is Canadian, are you saying he never won a WSOP?????
Thanks!
