LAPT San Jose: Level 19 Updates
11.15pm: FINAL TABLE SET
With the elimination of Michael Hull, we have our final table of nine. Appearing tomorrow will be:
Seat 1 -- Alec Torelli, USA, PokerStars qualifier, 404,000
Seat 2 -- Pawel Sanojca, Poland, PokerStars qualifier, 134,000
Seat 3 -- Steven Thompson, Costa Rica, 195,000
Seat 4 -- Steven Silverman, USA, PokerStars qualifier, 831,000
Seat 5 -- Valdemar Kwaysser, Hungary, PokerStars qualifier, 594,000
Seat 6 -- Ashton Griffin, United States, PokerStars qualifier, 761,000
Seat 7 -- Max Steinberg, USA, 284,000
Seat 8 -- Joe Ebanks, USA, PokerStars qualifier, 321,000
Seat 9 -- Alexander Soderlund, Sweden, PokerStars qualifier, 325,000
11.10pm: Michael Hull, PokerStars qualifier from the United States, is eliminated in 10th place, earning $$12,547
That didn't take long. Michael Hull and David Thompson get it all in pre-flop behind K-J and A-K respectively. There's no outdraw this time and Thompson takes it -- around about 200,000 -- to book his spot at the final table.
11.05pm: It's hand for hand in Costa Rica, as we are on the final table bubble.
11pm: Luis Jaikel, Costa Rica, is eliminated in 11th place, earning $12,547

A pre-flop raising battle breaks out between Luis Jaikel and Ashton Griffin. It ends with Jaikel pushing all in, for about 120,000, and the pot-committed larger stack of Griffin calls. The young American is in pretty bad shape with his ace-queen against pocket queens, but this time an ace does flop and there is stunned silence from the Costa Rican masses.
10.55pm: Victor Lemos, Panama, is eliminated in 12th place, earning $12,547

Victor Lemos is out, and it's another scalp for Steven Silverman. Silverman found queens and found Lemos pushing all-in pre-flop with ace-jack. But despite those familiar chimes of "Ace!" coming from the rail, none did and the man from Panama is out.
10.45pm: Double up for Victor Lemos, who was dominated when it all went in pre-flop, holding king-queen against Steven Silverman's ace-queen. The king flopped, though, and the man from Panama survies. Still 12 left.
10.40pm: Don Stockwell, Costa Rica, is eliminated in 13th place, earning $12,547
Don Stockwell has enjoyed one of the most voluable rails in recent poker history, with the Costa Rican contingent celebrating his every blind steal as though he had won the World Series. But the party is, unfortunately, now over, and it was ended in fairly decisive fashion. He got it all in pre-flop with ace-king, and was up against Steven Silverman's pocket jacks. "Ace! Ace! Ace!" came the cries from the spectators, but the flop was a somewhat convincing jack-jack-three. Silverman flopped quads and Stockwell was out.

10.25pm: As we enter level 19, it's all change at the top of the leaderboard. That was a crushing last level for the PokerStars qualifier Steven Silverman, who went from just more than 100,000 to more than 600,000.
