EPT San Remo: Early line ups

|

Play has begun on day 1b with six Team PokerStars Pros tucked in somewhere around the card room. Daniel Negreanu sits with Thomas Brolin, Juha Helppi and Joris Jaspers, one of the tougher tables on the day so no wonder he was asking me about the dinner break.

Isabelle Mercier, compete with camouflage trousers, makes a welcome return to the EPT. She has headphones on and looks in the zone whilst further along ElkY, hidden under shades and a hood, plays these first levels with Ed de Haas and Hans Eskilsson.

On the next table along is Vanessa Rousso. The American has her pink iPod strapped to her arm on a table that also features Englishman Jon Kabbaj who is starting early with the massage.

You might remember James Honeybone from our coverage at the PokerStars.com EPT Warsaw two weeks ago. The New Zealander was picked out as having travelled furthest to Europe, a record he may have to arm wrestle countryman and Team PokerStars Pro Lee Nelson for in San Remo.

James’s table would make some people shudder, featuring as it does the likes of former EPT Grand Final champion Rob Hollink, Antonio Esfandiari and Martin Wendt. James is not the type to travel all this way for nothing though and will looking to have the same success he had on day one in Poland.

Earlier today the video blog team caught up with Englishman Marc Goodwin and Welshman/Italian Roberto Romanello in the sunshine.
