While it's no big secret in the poker world, PokerStars has been quietly testing a couple of new games for the past week or so. Now the world's leading poker room is publicly rolling out a couple of new offerings.
This afternoon, PokerStars began to officially offer Five-Card Draw and Deuce to Seven (2-7) Triple Draw. Of course, 5 Card Draw is the same game you've spent years playing around Grandma's table for pennies. Each player is dealt five cards, then given one opportunity to improve their hand with a draw. In 2-7 Triple Draw, players get three draws to make the worst hand between deuce and seven, with straights and flushes counting against the hand.
PokerStars is offering both games with fixed limit, pot-limit, and no-limit betting. Click the "Other Games" tab in your PokerStars lobby to try out the newest offerings. For more information on the game rules, check out the 5 Card Draw and 2-7 Triple Draw pages at PokerStars.com
