Joe Hachem wins WPT Five Diamond Classic at Bellagio
No one, and I mean no one, has ever accused Joe Hachem of being a fluke World Series of Poker Champion. His multiple appearances at major final tables in the past 18 months have proven the 2005 WSOP champ has the kind of game to win championships, not to mention lots and lots of money. It's only been a few months since Hachem nearly picked up his second WSOP bracelet in the 2006 WSOP.
Now, before the end of 2006, Hachem has proven to the world that he not only has the game to go deep, but also has the stuff to be a champion once again.

It took Hachem just four hours to plow through the WPT Bellagio Five Diamond Classic Championship final table tonight, dispatching with five tough foes, including 2005 Player of the Year, Daniel Negreanu.
For his win, Hachem picked up more than $2.1 million and a seat in the $25,000 WPT Championship this spring.
As a guy who has had the pleasure to be around Hachem during many of his great tournament appearances, it feels pretty good to see the guy take down another title. No one ever been able to call Hachem a fluke, because he never gave them time to do so. The man has the heart, game, and talent of a champion and he showed it this week at Bellagio.
Congrats, Joe, on a much deserved win. See you in the Bahamas.
