After several hard weeks of qualifying, international Round Robin play is about to begin in the 2006 PokerStars World Cup of Poker. Beginning May 5 at 7:00pm ET and running through May 14, players from all over the world will compete in Round Robin play. Teams in all eight international groups are fighting to determine who will make it to Barcelona in June for the live televised matches.

The players on the World Cup of Poker teams worked hard to get where they are already. Now comes the true test of heads-up skill.

If you want to root on your favorite player or root for your country, state, or province, you can watch the matches by clicking "Events" in your PokerStars game lobby. Then click "World Cup" and "Round Robin."
