EPT Monte Carlo: Joe Hachem eliminated

Joe Hachem has been eliminated from the EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo. We pick up the action on the flop.



Hachem bet into his opponent on the flop and his opponent raised. Hachem thought for a moment before re-raising. His opponent appeared as if he might fold, then pushed in the rest of his stack. Hachem fell deep into the tank. A crowd formed, camera shutters fired. Finally, Hachem took his earphones out of his ear and tried to get his opponent to talk. Ultimately, Hachem called. His pained reaction told the story.

A king fell on the turn, but no king or ace came on the river and Hachem fell out in the second level.
